Lightning Fall Hockey

Ages
Players entering 9th-12th grade at Lake Park, South Elgin, Bartlett, and Dundee Crown high schools are eligible for Lightning Hockey. We plan to field a Varsity Team and a Junior Varsity Team. Both teams play in the largest league in the State - IHSHL North Central.
When
Season begins with evaluations in August . League games begin in September and continue until playoffs in February.

Practices
Lightning teams typically practice 2 times per week.
Games
Lightning teams play 22 league games over the course of the season in addition to tournaments (typically 2) and playoffs.
Jerseys
Players new to Lightning must purchase a set of home/away jerseys (these are different than spring jerseys), home/away socks, and a shell.
Returning 2025/26 Lightning players will be required to purchase a shell.
