We are excited to announce that the newly opened Elk Grove Ice Arena will be our new primary home rink! (some ice times to be supplemented by Rolling Meadows)

The season begins with evaluations in August.

League games begin in September and continue until playoffs in February.

Standard Pricing

$4200 skater / $2100 goalie

Early Bird Pricing (register by 7/31)

$4000 skater /$2000 goalie

Season fees can be paid in full or with a 4-month payment plan. The first payment is due on 8/24:

Early Bird - Skater $1000, Goalie $500

After 7/31 - Skater $1050, Goalie $525

Subsequent payments, each of the same amount, will be due on 10/1, 11/1, and 12/1.

Payments can be made via Zelle (scroll down for QR code) or Crossbar. Families who do not choose the Zelle option or have past due payments will be automatically billed through Crossbar (2% fee for credit cards, free for ACH).

Lightning players typically practice 2x/week.

Regular practice slots are:

Mondays 9:00pm Elk Grove - JV and Varsity Combined

Tuesdays 8:50pm Elk Grove - Varsity only

Wednesdays 8:00pm Sports Complex - JV only

Games consist of 22-25 league games over the course of the season in addition to playoffs and tournaments.

Season fees include all practices, games, league fees, tournaments, and special events.

Players new to Lightning Hockey will be required to purchase a set of home/away game jerseys ($276) home/away game socks ($54) and a shell ($55).

Shells will be required for both new and returning Lightning players ($55).

Helmets/gloves should be either black or dark blue.
